Spring Tablescape Guide
Are you hosting an Easter event but not sure where to start with the table? Let us help!
We always begin every project with a mood board - whether this is just pinning a few images on Pinterest or saving photos on Instagram, it’s always useful to have vision. We can then pick up on any themes we really want to explore and asses whether we have items of our own already to use or if we need to source a few more!
It’s Springtime so we we really recommend adding colour to your dining table to bring the outside in. If you are more of a minimalist, perhaps just a pop of colour through one of our new linen napkins or adding a chic tied bow around your wine glass to elevate the colours.
If you love colour like us, then go bold with your tablecloth, such as our olive green linen. You can always pair this with our matching napkins or go for something similar of your own. If you are feeling extra this Easter, get your own menu’s printed! Our go to is Paper Stories Co - for the sweetest designs.
Flowers for this season, are of course vital. Smaller budget? Think bud vases. Talk to your local florist on what to buy/ visit your local market to shop the season. In London, we love using Clapham Flowers for beautiful displays and floristry help.
Get fruity! We are loving using fruit/veg on our tablescapes at the moment and it is such a fun way to add another element to your display. Grapes work really well as a filler and you can always use these at the end of the meal as part of the cheeseboard! We are also loving artichokes as part of our themes. Think whole fruit and veg that you can re-use after and keeping to a similar shade works well.
Use various candles/holders to create height differentiation on the table. We love to match different styles here but of course, if you prefer to stick to the same that works well to. Just be careful to leave some room for people to still see each other through your lovey display!
Add a nod to Easter! We love this napkin styling to create this beautiful bunny display. This could also be a fun activity for kids after to decorate their own eggs. However, you may want to choose plastic ones to avoid getting too messy!
